I started working for Gary Gilman and Rick Guidelli as a laborer in 1987. Over the next ten years I worked in cabinet making, then framing, and eventually became a Lead Carpenter and Project Supervisor. I was made a Partner in 2004.
Today I am the Partner primarily responsible for all company operations. I develop overall project schedules and budgets, manage staffing, as well as develop business and personnel.
I stay personally involved in our largest projects, and try to visit as many sites as I can to help ensure the highest quality standards are met and projects are delivered on time and on budget.
I do miss getting my hands dirty at times. I always loved the work of framing a home, of making something tangible from an idea. I still enjoy figuring out complicated construction sequences and difficult details. There is nothing more satisfying than when a challenging interaction of structure materials and professionals goes as planned.
Away from work I am a husband, a dad, and a friend. I play music, cook, and go to bed early. These days most of my time is spent going to, from, or standing in hockey rinks.
