My career started early, at age 15, when I enrolled in the carpentry program at a vocational school in Hanover, MA. After receiving my degree in Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2021, I started working at GGB. I have worked in both commercial and residential construction for almost 30 years now — handling everything from framing to finish carpentry (still my true passion!).
These days I spend less time with a hammer in my hand and more time overseeing all aspects of major build projects. I thrive in what some would call a “hectic” environment, but it lets me hone my communication and leadership skills.
It also demands constant attention to detail, which my team and clients really appreciate. I’m always ready for a new challenge and thoroughly enjoy problem-solving with the entire crew.
I feel extremely lucky to be a part of some very unique projects utilizing state-of-the-art technology and sustainable materials. The best part of my job is the people, though — creative, talented, and hardworking. Having been a carpenter for so many years, I truly understand and appreciate what our team does out in the field.
When I’m not at GGB, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two kids, and our six fish. I like to sail with my kids, fish from my kayak, or just sit and read.
